Election Day in Simi Valley

Today is election day in Simi Valley. I have never been more excited to cast my vote. I encourage my visitors to post their predictions here and let me know what they think the results will be.

Plus, for any candidates that may be reading, please feel free to post a comment or send me an email and I’ll gladly publish any of your statements. As of this week, my traffic is sky-rocketing!

Good luck!

  1. i know your for bruce witkin, but I think the incumbents will easily take the election as far as city council goes. same with school board, but I think jashinsky has a good shot.

  2. I don’t think its realistic to say that Brad Jashinsky has a shot even if he is qualified at such a young age. The teachers union would never support someone so young. I agree about the incumbants being the winners too. There are a couple of good alternatives but I dont think enough people know them to vote for them.

  3. Good morning, thanks for posting!

I agree that the incumbents have the advantage, but I wouldn’t completely discount their campaigning efforts. I know some of the challengers have received votes already just in some of my discussions. Will they receive enough to be victorious? Time will tell… I’m hopeful for some of them.

While I have your attention, what do you think was the biggest problem facing the challengers? Money? Experience? Support?
