SIMI VALLEY MAYOR CANDIDATE ENDORSED BY THE VENTURA COUNTY PROFESSIONAL FIREFIGHTERS ASSOCIATION
Bob Huber, former Simi Valley City Council member, current chairman of the Ventura County Community Colleges Board of Trustees, today announced the receipt of the endorsement of the Ventura County Professional Firefighters Association (VCPFA). This is an important endorsement, since the members of the VCPFA are the men and woman who provide firefighters services to the people of Simi Valley.
Chris Mahon, the president of the Ventura County Professional Firefighters Association said, “We are proud to support and endorse Bob Huber for Mayor of Simi Valley. Huber understands that the needs of the firefighters and the community are one in the same–safety for the people and open communication with the firefighters. We look forward to working with Mayor Huber for the best interests and safety of the people of Simi Valley.”
The Ventura County Professional Firefighters Association is the organization that represents all Firefighters in the Ventura County Fire Protection District (VCFD), and the Santa Paula City Fire Department (SPFD) through the rank of Captain. VCPFA members are dedicated to providing the highest level of professional firefighting and rescue services. This goal is achieved through the aggressive pursuit of high quality training, equipment, and staffing levels.
Huber thanked the Ventura County Professional Firefighters Association for their support. “I am proud and honored that the men and women who protect us everyday support my efforts to be Mayor of Simi Valley and protect the interests of the people of my hometown. Together, with the firefighters and my efforts, we will create a transparent government that meets the needs of all the people of Simi Valley.”
