What a great evening with the challenging City Council Candidates. Each candidate had plenty to share on topics such as doing business in Simi Valley, the Shop Simi Valley First program, City Council salary and benefits and more. I’m pleased to present the recorded playback of our live chat.

In our 90 minutes of time, we did NOT cover all the topics I was hoping to touch on. Hopefully these candidates will return to cover some additional topics before the election.

Subscriber Count and Future Plans

I am delighted to see my subscriber count on iTunes jump dramatically from a measly 16 subscribers on my first video podcast to a more impressive 547 subscribers since my post recent podcast. I have very little doubt that much of my success is due to Brian Dennert’s nod of approval. I can’t tell you enough how pleased I am to see so many people who care about Simi Valley. This goes to show that the passion for our city extends beyond those in local government. We have a lot of multi generation families here with a vested interest in keeping our community on top.

Stay tuned for more video releases in the coming days (I’m loaded with footage) and expect our coverage to continue past the elections. I’m assembling a program that will allow me to continue my quest to make Simi Valley the best place to live!
